New day, new identity, new site
I've made this site using purely markdown and Qwen3.6 as a static-site generator with no code. It's pretty much two folders, one called docs and one pages with a single AGENTS.md file.
What will this be about?
I've made this site to be able to talk about the things that interest me, bother me, take space on my mind but don't feel free to talk about elsewhere.
I want to upgrade my social and business environment to match better my interest, and to do so you've got to develop an awareness of the things that add value to your life and the things that decrease it. If you have to self-censor to avoid crucifixition by extremist, you erode your passions and your life becomes dull.
I want less
-
Virtue-signaling, people who pretend they are pro-many causes to feed their self-rigtheousness.
-
Narrow-mindedness and extremism.
-
Hypocrite anti-climate change activists:
-
that never recycle,
-
never take any efficient public transport,
-
are contionuously on an airplane poluting for us all,
-
and YET worried about the oceans due to LLMs.
-
-
People who profess a hatred towards the lack of workers rights, but then take years to provide a contract to their always-stressed-out contractors. They are literally the problem they are trying to solve.
-
People who are unable to write down their software requirements and more importantly remember them.
-
Pair programming, I hate that thing. Social and coding moments require two different modes in my mind that are not compatible. I create 10x bigger abstractions in my head, and write 20x more code when I'm alone and fed by a decent-enough song playlist and carbs.
-
Know-it-alls, snobs, those who fake being humble to fit in but are convinced of being the second coming of Jesus. I can't stand arrogance 🤮
-
Clients with fragile income streams. You can't pay a mortgage without a solid business relationship.
I want more
-
People who get me, who I am, what I can do, my limitations and my streghts and take them seriously, the same I always take theirs and reject working with them if we're not compatible.
-
Brutal honesty, I rather take an angry client that has no filter, than a polite one that never speaks their mind. Kidness is appreciated of course but not when it obscures communication. I'll sleep better with the angry one.
-
Real values, real people. I don't care about your politics, religion, etc I care about sincerity. I'll value you more if you live by your moral compass than if you profess my same political leanings but ...read the above about fakeness.
What and who I am
I'm 70% high potential, 20% autism and 10% ADHD (diagnosed). How does this translate to a business relationship:
-
Complex problems are the easy ones, simple ones are the hard ones. e.g: designing a user interface in a way 5 different people with different personalities, intelligence, goals would all be able to use without a manual is easy I can put myself in the shoes of those 5 different people simultaneously very easily.....but deciding what to put on a commit message would take me 10 times more and drive me insane, so I get aided by some LLM suggestion.
-
Task management: unlike stereotypical ADHDers that have to complete tasks following a to-do list and can't stand routine I deeply love routine and rarely have to write down what I have to do. My HP counteracts it, making my working memory humongous and flexible.
-
Task initiation: I have zero issues with this, I just wrap the boring stuff around something that makes it fun and doesn't consume extra time:
-
Working out at the gym becomes: discovering new music in, and showering without worring about the water bill.
-
Writing code: developing a side project using the same framework.
-
Reading a boring book within a day: hiking in a flat and empty countryside route.
-
-
Arborescent thinking: I don't think linearly, but in branches, every day, every hour, all the time. So like every other HP person I detect patterns, lies, social psychology trends, behavioral patterns much quicker.
-
I have a strong interest (always had) in social psychology.
-
The 20% autism comes down to noise sensitivity:
-
Active-noise cancelling headphones when I'm in deep focus are not optional.
-
Certain noises have a strong distracting effect: loud traffic, washing machines, banging doors.
-
-
I've mastered masking to the point all of my friends think I'm an effortless extrovert and social animal.
-
Yet masking does require hours and days of solitude.
-
I'm not an introvert, nor extrovert, I'm both. The pendulus changes when big fat brain is tired.
-
My biggest daily two dilemmas are doing all the tasks I set to do before I run out of stammina AND ensuring I remove all friction that would prevent me from completing as much as I can, while not getting distracted in ever optimising my workflow.
-
Having that 70/20/10 proportion means owning this brain feels like riding a Ferrari at 240kms an hour in a mountain with continunous obstacles without the break pedal working.
-
Like every person with HP, every day, very often I reach the solution to a problem without even knowing how.
